Justin! It's a short book, but so wonderful. I don't agree with her at all on many things, but my admiration for her is tremendous on so many levels. So I'm with you- I love pretty much everything about her, even though I am a profoundly different person than she was. If you read her letters, she has this long exchange for a good portion of her life with "A". And "A" is not Catholic (although at one point thinks of becoming one) and is so different from Flannery (I wish we could see her letters to Flannery) and yet Flannery's respect and dignity and interest in "A" is something to behold.

These days, my fave story of hers is "Parker's Back". The woman died at 39 and wasn't necessarily prolific and yet I find her work endlessly rich. I keep going back.
