joseph it is a pretty cool press! but like a lot of small presses, one has to be invested in what one is a part of. writebloody prints up and sells their author's books via online and the authors receive a percentage of that. copies that the authors sell themselves pay for them themselves. so when i'm on tour i order and pay for x amount of books to be printed and shipped to me and whatever i sell goes into my pocket. so one is only paying for the books that one is selling oneself.

I don't quite get WB press. What's their deal? They seem real cool but then they talk about print on demand and saving you money and stuff. Do you get your manuscript accepted and then help with the cost of printing?

In any event, they're pretty.

In the first part of the interview, O’Keefe says she took the title from a Sesame Street sketch from the first season (1969-1970). Lauryn Hill's song was released in 1998. My guess is that she lifted it, too. The earliest instances of the phrase that I can find are as titles of a Diana Ross album (1970), a Donny Hathaway album (1970), and an Earth, Wind and Fire song (1971). It's been used for the title of many songs and albums since then. I wish I knew where the phrase "everything is everything" comes from. I like little tautologies like that. Like, in Faith No More's 'Epic,' he says "What is it? It's it." Of course.

If you can confirm to me that the name of that book is a nod to Lauryn Hill, I will buy it.
