Those worried about massive edits should know that they are not common. Most of what is published at 'elimae' is published as submitted, or perhaps with a slight nip or tuck. And the authors are always free to say no--the writing is, after all, theirs. I often remind them, in fact, that when they publish their books they can always restore the cuts! Also interesting to hear the voice of 'elimae' described as being my voice. Those who have read much of my writing will know that I don't actually write much like what is published at 'elimae'.
