I spent an entire year of undergrad reading Vonnegut in public at all opportunities in hopes it would make me a friend.

It didn’t, and then he died the week he was supposed to come speak to us.

great post. although the thing about those red clothbound books from everyman — they feel so good in my hands, i don’t even care how i look.

otherwise i’ve perfected the art of placing the book face down, spine away from everybody.
