At work today, I was looking at the wear patterns on my keyboard and I realized that when I type, I strike the space bar with my right thumb. I hardly ever use my left thumb.

using your left thumb to hit space bar will open up a right brained world of wonder in your writing. try it.

i just tried purposefully to use the left thumb by alternating right and left and it was really really hard. like i couldn’t even think straight.

does anyone use their right pinky to hit shift?

      yeah, me neither.

I am so extremely left-handed that I do almost everything with my left hand, and my left thumb is the most important to me of all my digits. My right hand is pretty pathetic. And I hit the space bar with my right thumb. I paid attention while typing this comment.

Also, it was very difficult, nearly impossible for me to learn to play piano as a kid, even tho I learned to read music easily, because the “important” stuff is done with the right hand. I feel the loss to this very day.

      – every time the to-be-capitalized letter is under a left-hand finger.

      Maybe I don’t understand the question/joke?

Does anyone have trouble during Dead Space when they are levitating things (I forget the real name–I’m new to game and gaming) and you have to use the R finger and then use another R finger to move the levitated thing or throw it at an enemy? It is awkward and carpal tunnel dream, I feel.

I think that game devs assume people have both index and middle fingers on the trigger buttons, but i have never played that way and I cant think of anyone who does. it is awkward as hell and I think it’s poor control design
