A new issue of Colored Chalk will be edited by Richard Thomas and he’s accepting submissions for its “heaven and hell” issue (500 to 1500 words) until June 30th. I’m polishing up a piece on heaven for submission.
Nice. Thanks for the link. Another one I hadn’t heard of till HTMLGIANT mentioned it. Much appreciated.

Ditto Brad’s comment.

Damn Nathan, I see you everywhere! Yeah, Colored Chalk is great. I’m actually one of its founders, so I’m especially happy to see HTML GIANT mention it (honestly, HTML is the most essential grab in my rss reader – I love you guys)

Thanks for the post pr, look forward to any and all submissions.
Make sure they are heaven OR hell please. We’re trying to do a dual cover, split issue. Deadline is June 30. While the maximum length is 1500, I’d rather get a lot of great stories in the 500-700 range and get more voices out there than a handful of 1500s. But that call is up to you.
If you want to see what kind of stuff I personally dig you can check out Issue #6 – Waking Up Strange that I edited and designed for CC – Joe Meno, Joey Goebel and Rayo Casablanca all contributed, as well as a slew of other lesser known, but equally talented writers.

My writing and links to other live work is up at my site too. I call most of it neo-noir, but I’m open to all styles as long as it is intense, solid writing. I am a big fan of setting and senses too.
THANKS!
Peace,
Richard
