Hey friends. Leaving this Friday to hit the road for the Featherproof Dollar Store Summer Tour, which if you are on the east coast or nearby, is likely coming to or near you… would seriously be awesome to see faces, meet faces, drink drinks on faces, eat faces. Come out! Please? We have a lot of crazies peoples, crazy guests (check each city below to see who in yr city will be there), surely to be drunk fun, I have early copies of my new book Scorch Atlas, there are things going to happen. I can’t wait. I love the Slipper Room. Mmm, burlesque. The last time I was there was for the birthday party of a magician who was carrying around this real goat head cane with glass eyes. On stage this Russian beefcake stood on a girl’s stomach while she was doing a back bend in lingerie. Downstairs at the coat check was this laughing man who went: hoo hoo! to everything. He probably won’t be there, though, since it’ll be damn HOT in July!

heh, i really have no idea. i would imagine there is the possibility of cursing in there. everyone is reading pieces specifically themed for dollar store items, so i really have no idea what will be read at each event. i’d say for the safety, yeah, kids might want to hide. or at least bring teddy bear earmuffs and a psp. ;)
