wow. i really wish i wrote that book.
I can attest to Mary Miller’s BIG WORLD being awesome – this looks great too
why are they called “minibooks”?
~300pgs of 4″x6″ seems pretty standard…
Well… the concept of the books has changed a little from initial conception, but… you know. 4×6 is smaller than normal. They’re like pocketbooks, but that moniker was taken.
I’ve read book one and it’s almost as good as the book looks. And the last 75 or so pages has me salivating for book two.
Oh, okay. That makes sense. And actually, yeah, that’s slightly smaller than even the smallest standard paperback size, it seems.
This got me curious, and I did some thumb measuring. The book currently between me and my laptop is about 6″x9.5″, and ~1300 pgs. Beefy.
Anyway, these books look really nice. I think I’ll buy them once I have some money again. I just finished an internet spending spree. Brogues, records and Witz. So, I am rendered impecunious. (I love the covers, by the way).
Oh man, this reads like massive posturing. It isn’t! It’s just that I’m mid-essay and haven’t slept for a long time and so keep typing things as they occur to me.
This book looks hot. I wish I wasn’t broke.
I agree. I read this recently and loved it. I can’t wait to see the book in it’s final form.
