I’m sorry, but I’m stupid. Is this a real found item from the web, or is this something Mr Chen constructed?

They’re imported from China, they must be real.

I rewatched Heathers recently (with Tim Jones-Yelvington! (shout-out)), and had forgotten that Christian Slater’s character is named J.D. (Hey, it’s been a while!)

I thought, the more juvenile ‘juvenile delinquent’… but sure, ‘Jerry Dave’.

Can Heathers be seen with the ‘original’ ending? I don’t think it’s on the dvd, even as an extra. [spoiler He succeeds in blowing up the school.]

You’re right, it’s also a juvie reference. Daniel Waters is a clever one.

As far as I know, his original ending wasn’t shot? I’m planning to try contacting Waters, for a film article I’m writing, and if I get in touch with him, I’ll ask him for more on that.

Well, wiki says that a 2004 limited-edition DVD contains the “original ending” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heathers#Home_media . This means an ending was shot and discarded due to studio pressure (the story I’ve heard)? or the DVD contains discussion of the ending that would’ve been cool to shoot/show?

Ask him about Hudson Hawk, a movie I enjoyed and wondered, with all the shit that gets released, why the long knives for this??
