Apparently the original Space Jam website still exists.  Are there other “vintage websites” still around like this?  I’d be interested in browsing them.

I love Web 1.0 pages— the pixelated images, MIDI background music, and fluorescent Times New Roman text. Here are some I’ve collected over the years:

      Museum of Talking Boards: http://www.museumoftalkingboards.com/
This page from ’96 is the most extensive online source about Ouija boards.

      Unsolved Mysteries: http://www.unsolvedmysteries.com/
This site is not associated with the TV show; it’s a forum for people to share paranormal experiences and bad poetry. The layout hasn’t changed since I was a kid in 1997.

Return to Oz Fan Site: http://www.waltdisneysreturntooz.com/
A comprehensive page about Disney’s best film.

      Twin Peaks Online: http://www.twinpeaks.org/
A fan site that’s been around since ’97, complete with fan fiction and .WAV audio files.

      Tamagotchi: http://www.virtualpet.com/vp/farm/lleg/tamv.htm
A page that details every version of the Tamagotchi digital pet since ’96.

Damn this is one of my favorite “shorter” posts I’ve seen on here. Trip down memory lane or whatever….
