Be sure to check out the incredible Dalkey Archive Summer Sale, where through June 4 you can get 5 Dalkey titles for $35, 10 for $65, or 20 for $120 (shipping included in the U.S.). These people work my credit card hard at least twice a year, and I love them for it.

hate to kill the witz party, but i think that its not eligible for the summer sale?

      quote:

“Offer applies to all trade paperbacks and issues of the Review of Contemporary Fiction published before April ’10.”

But there are at least two ways to interpret that sentence…

  4. Blake Butler

ah, yes, i assumed that the date restriction there applied to RCF only, but you might be right. if anyone orders and hears one way or the other please let us know!

  5. Donald

oh, wow. there are so many people here I’ve never heard of. could anybody make some recommendations? I’d really appreciate it.

  6. Ken Baumann

Europeana is terrific. These sales are also a good chance to fill any David Markson lacunae you might have.

Everyone had great picks the last time Dalkey ran this sale; I’m looking forward to checking out more of y’all’s recommendations.

Mati Unt, Things in the Night
Gilbert Sorrentino, anything, but I really enjoyed Imaginary Qualities of Actual Things
Yes on Ourednik’s Europeana. Great call, Ken.
      Rikki Ducornet, anything
Roubaud, The Great Fire of London
      Dubravka Ugresic
      Harry Mathews, Cigarettes
      Gert Jonke, anything
      Gass, The Tunnel (obviously)
