   Why couldn’t Michael Bay be amongst that recent string of celebrity deaths? While there are wonderful American directors such as Sofia Coppola, David Lynch, Rebecca Miller, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Harmony Korine (to name a few of the heavy hitters), Michael Bay continues to diminish what they’re doing for American cinema’s overall quality. I will never hand over any money for any of his work. I don’t mind popcorn flicks, but he needs to watch Jurassic Park and The Dark Knight over and over until he can learn how to direct a decent one.
