I met him once and we talked about the adaptation of F-451 to film, and whether he liked it. I remember there being two versions, one in color and one in B&W. He said he liked the music in one of the versions more than the other.

At any rate, dude was a rockstar.

I remember becoming obsessed with Ray Bradbury after reading “Something Wicked This Way Comes” and I have damn near every story he ever wrote on my bookshelf. I read every thing about him and every interview that I could find.

I think all the kids need a Cooger & Dark’s Combined Shadow Shows and Pandemonium Theater Company to come set up in the night so they can sneak out the window and go see it set up at around 3am.

RAY BRADBURY’S “WORKS” GOT ME INTERESTED IN FICTION WHEN I WAS TWELVE YEARS OF AGE. BEFORE I “DISCOVERED” HIS “WORKS” I READ MOSTLY NONFICTION.

RAY BRADBURY DIED AT THE SAME AGE AS JEROME DAVID SALINGER.
