I mean, in the city that is my city of influences and loves, he’s there looming. And smiling pleasantly, too, which is what I like about him. In a chart of how much fun all human’s on the planet are having, I imagine Michael near the top.

I got to meet him and see him read in Cleveland last February. It was maybe my favorite reading I’ve ever been to. I still have his phone number. I should call him sometime.
what a fucking joke. At least, that was what I was about to type but then minute 8 of the vid rolled around and it actually became thoughtful, interest, etc. Also, drinking has helped.
