I Like What The Hell Is Going On Over Here
Say hello to next month’s Zoetrope and a guy named Tim Maia. Hello.
“TVC 15” is a song written and recorded by David Bowie and released in 1976.
The track was inspired by an episode in which Iggy Pop, during a drug-fuelled period at Bowie’s LA home, hallucinated and believed the television set was swallowing his girlfriend. Bowie developed a story of a holographic television, TVC 15. After his girlfriend crawled into the television and was lost, he desired to crawl in himself to find her.
I like Eric Shaw‘s paintings a lot more than I like a lot of things.

Reynard? Me, too. I also have a bootleg copy of Bowie doing TVC 15 on German television back in the day. Eric Shaw is acid.
I didn’t even know Zoetrope was still around. Where they been?
They had a great story by Tea Obreht in their previous issue. They been around.
