Genesis had all this surgery to turn himself into his girlfriend and then she died and anyway-has anyone seen those pictures? Or am I mixing him up with someone else? He’s got boob implants and his face is totally different.
He makes me feel less crazy because he’s so crazy. He comforts me that way. And then he also doesn’t comfort me in that if I think about him too much, I feel disturbed. I will refer to this as DFW’s “bothness” concept.
I want a Dream Machine. I have heard that they’re quite easy to build if you have any kind of mechanical know how I don’t, unfortunately.
I liked this odd collection of things. If you havent heard Anton La Vey’s cover version of Billy Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday” played on his church organ, with Mrs. La Vey on backing vocals, then you haven’t lived.
Roxane Gay— I knew you would, GaGa. I just knew it.
reynard— i love how everything gagag is involved with is somehow said to be a direct product of her mind. you guys don’t think there has been a team of A&R douches working their well-paid assess off to make the next big thing seem as authentic as possible? do you not think this...
Lady GaGa— This was really long-ish, but I appreciate your beauty and grace. YOU’VE LEFT ME SPEECHLESS!!! ;D
Lady GaGa— I feel ya Roxane! ;) EVEN I WORK OUT TO MY OWN MUSIC!!!! :D
Corey— I hope you don’t think I’m doing that, Roxane. What’s a true artist? But hoorah for your comments. Witty, colourful and fun are exactly what should have been said.
Lady GaGa— You remind me of one of those purple and aqua colored pop-tarts. I like. I like very much.
Corey— Oh yeah, had another look at your comments, just to add that if, Paul, you think that adding intelligent commentary along with one’s art (a la Warhol, which is a strange thing to say anyway, he certainly eschewed the intelligentsia of his time) makes pop art more interesting?...
