Fantastic. Great eye contact with the “crowd,” too, a reading rarity. Okay, gonna shut up and listen now.

Damn–I went to Taco Bell and ate it while watching this.
and name for me one town that isn’t trembling.

There’s such a great tension between “nature” and fragmentation here.

i’m with ken on the tattoos.
ask her to re-read the penis poem without laughing.
Very cool. I liked all of these, but especially, “I am on fire.”

What an excellent idea and reading. Appreciate it all and look forward to reading more of the work.
Wonder, as a reader, how the experience of reading online (not seeing/judging reaction) differs from F&B (Flesh & Blood) readings you’ve had?
Props to NH as well

just caught the tail end of this. is there a way to watch the whole broadcast again?
Just wanted to say thanks so much to Heather for sharing her beautiful poetry. Also, big congratulations for getting streaming poetry up and running- being stuck in Syracuse is trying because no one reads. I am going to tell everyone I know and we’ll all be here next time.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

this was great. was cursing boston mbta for being slow as fuck and almost making me miss this but it was great to be able to watch while stripping myself of winter wear and getting a big ass bowl of guacamole/chips and whiskey. not guac and whiskey mixed. bandmates, not fuck buddies. anyway this was great.

I’m sorry I missed this. I was out celebrating good news on the employment front. I would be thrilled if the video was posted.

I ordered her bunny book while listening to Unbunny. I love the missing ear on the cover. Also missed the reading as I was driving home from kid orchestra practice in an ice storm. Hope to download it soon. Can’t wait for Dorthea–who is already on my shelves.

I was just about to say something similar, only minus the good employment news thing. I was working, so that’s sort of good news, that I still have a job and all that these days.
Anyway, 1) I hope the archival footage gets posted somewhere, and 2) congrats on the employment good news, Roxane!
