   I didn’t know Ron well but knew him sidely and wrote for him at the American Book Review for many years….

   He lived next to the WTC and had a horrifying 9/11 tale, of people both helping him down a stairwell in his wheelchair, and people stampeding over him.

   His counter-part, Raymond Federman, passed away last Oct.
