Great reading, interesting selection.
EDEN EDEN EDEN is another book by PG
an incredible novel. It isn’t a novel. Who knows
what it is
Nice job brother, and you called out Denis Wood – can not wait for that to hit my mailbox
I enjoyed this. It’s similar to what I do at http://www.wingchairbooks.com.
If anyone wants to do a guest post video, email me at mafilippone@gmail.com
I keep hearing about Thin Kimono. Guess I’m going to have to check it out. I always type “Think Kimono” the first time.
Wood! can’t believe i blanked on his last name. the book is gorgeous. getting ready to interview him
it’s really good
thanks Jon. Edenx3 is next on my list. excited.
When I watch you, advertisements for Detroit 1-8-7 and the Jonas Brothers run on repeat. I think they know us, Blake. They know us.
i like your voice, blake
like, do you have a bit of a lisp?
seems cute
i want to know what detroit 1-8-7 is but i refuse to google it and let the ad people win
they do know
i think i probably have some little lisp, especially when i’ve hardly talked all day
Detroit 1-8-7 is an upcoming American drama series that will air on ABC in Fall 2010.[1] The series stars Michael Imperioli as Detective Louis Fitch, a respected while deeply misunderstood man fighting crime on the streets of Detroit.
I’d buy that for a dollar!
grace krilanovich kills it
after I let you in on all this the ads changed to making babies out of our own faces. because our faces are so similar, do you think the program would just feed us back ourselves? I’m going to read 22 books now.
i keep getting ads for publishing christian books, can they hear me barking at god often
i don’t know if they can hear that hi
nice job recording this shithead, glad

I like this idea. (Daddy’s is calling to me from the bedside table.) But the embedded video’s broken (for me). Do you have a link, Blake? Thanks.
I’ll be in touch, Michael. I’ve become a video-making fiend, and I really like this idea. Gotta wrap up some other projects first, but soon…
try reloading, it seems to be broken sometimes and not others. or you can doubleclick on the frame and it should take you to the archive.

I’m glad to hear it. Shout at me.

damn boi
keepin it real & shit
this is a cool idea. you should force everybody on htmlgiant to do this once a month or something.
what’s staggering about blake’s commitment to the book is that he has probably 74353% more books in his apartment than he has cooking/food matter. that shelf is just the beginning, folks.
I’m learning some things from Lindsay Hunter.

Man, that video ended good. I’ll have to check out Danielle Dutton. I like her use of knives.
Ca$h is king but Gendron is at least a prince. Those money poems slay! Astounding.

Alright, I figured it out. I had to allow “third-party cookies” via Flash to watch it. Glad I did.
What I like most is the thorough rehearsal…
What I really like is how you manhandle the books. Seems like you have a visceral relationship with them. Unusual, I think, and entertaining.
I also like the range of works and how you’re just honestly crazy about all of these books. It’s infectious. You’re like Oprah. Except younger. Male. White. Less polished. Less “TV”… but still. I stand by my observation.
Guyotat sounds nuts. Gendron’s “Bad” cracked me up, then you. That was funny. Have you heard Danielle Dutton read? http://bombsite.com/issues/112/articles/3518 You’re dead-on about motion.
This is a really good idea. Thanks.
Hey Mike, see my comment above? Am I right about Blake’s visceral relationship w/ books or what?
Yeah, let’s go, Giant folk. Everybody, once a month, break out the webcam and show us your teeth.
i went to high school with a girl named lindsay who looked just like lindsay does in the author photo of the minibook she gave me called peggy’s brother (the title of which totally reminds me of a mayo thompson album called corky’s debt to his father). we smoked pot together on a regular basis (the other lindsay and i, lindsay land, although i think it was spelled differently, like lindsey or something and we had sex once when we were like nineteen or something, just once. she may still be dating her 11th grade english teacher, i’m not sure.
what i meant to say was, yeah she’s great!
Money IS in space. All the stuff that Poor Claudia has put out is great, though JG is next level.

You’re right, actually. I want to see Blake toss a Kindle. Then fly us all to Australia.
