damn, seems epic
I am stoked to see how DFW’s brilliant humor captures the mind-erasing tedium of a white-collar desk job – something I have to deal with everyday, unfortunately.
YES!!
is it on notecards
seems karen green did a pretty good job.
Blake Butler,
If you could please just turn HTMLGIANT into nothing but posts and musings about David Foster Wallace that would be great.
Thanks,
Matt
p.s. He really is the fucking greatest.
p.p.s. This livestream of Consider the Archive is pretty great too.

Nice, another unfinished novel resulting from an untimely death.
I’d pick it up, but I fear I’ll get splinters.

At least it doesn’t have a photo of DFW on it looking sad. (Not that I think this would ever happen but.)

That covers blows. Nice job, intern.
There probably haven’t been many days in the last eight to ten years that Wallace crossing Blake Butler’s mind hasn’t somehow crossed my mind. Today should be no exception.
wonderfully timed release date. can’t wait to stop at the barnes & noble on my way to committing tax fraud. are books normally released on fridays, or is this a one-time event, like the airing of an especially gripping edition of 20/20?

New releases are normally Tuesdays.
If by intern you mean his wife, then yes.
very interested in reading it

This is good.
So is the whole book going to be printed by dot matrix, or just the fucking cover?
Is there an archived video of Consider the Archive online I can watch?

Think this is better (sheafs of paper/explicit acknowledgement of ‘unfinished’) but has ghost/manic depressive connotations that feel a bit uncomfortable
