Nick Cave Reads from ‘The Death of Bunny Munro’

Pretty stoked on this forthcoming new novel from the dark dad, Nick Cave. Here’s him speaking tongues from Chap 3 of his new forthcoming novel The Death of Bunny Munro:

Musicians who can actually write are pretty rare, for sure. Nick ain’t no joke. (On a side note, would someone please rerelease Michael Gira’s The Consumer? Why hasn’t that happened yet? Derek, Calamari?)

      God, I love Nick Cave. I’m ridiculously happy he’s got a new novel coming out. I interviewed him (rather badly) back in ’92 and he was very kind to me. Maybe because I was so obviously clueless he took pity, or maybe because I was 19.

      I’d already been a big fan of his music for years, but I’d recently read And the Ass Saw the Angel, so wanted to talk about that. He had some interesting things to say about writing.

      Anyway, here’s the text for anyone curious. Forgive the awful writing. Hey–I was 19.
