I wonder what it said…what it would have said? Maybe it was a letter to God or Santa or Max.
“Now, Max, be sure to remember that thing I told you to do when I’m dead, and see to it it gets done. I’m serious now. This is very important, Max, you must do as say, follow through on it, completely, honor my wishes. I worry, Max. I know you. Don’t do what you always do. Don’t be all like ‘yeah, yeah, I’ll do it, I’ll do it’ and then do the opposite. No, that would not be kosher, Max. Not good, not good at all. Sigh. Am I still alive, writing this? It is very late, and these terrible headaches persist. My bones are so weak. I am certain I have a skin disease, and my scalp burns with a pain more awful than life itself…”
