Introducing Blue Square Press, who will release their first title, Ben Spivey’s Flowing In The Gossamer Fold, in August.
Here’s what Gary Lutz said about it: “Ben Spivey’s alluringly melodial debut novel of a marriage gone asunder unreels itself with the indisputable logic of dreams and delivers, along its phantasmagoric and dazing way, emotional clarities that feel entirely new.”

Ben Spivey is a hilariously unfortunate name. Nice cover, though.
Also, really, what’s up with that indiepress blurbspeak?
Is the logic of dreams really indisputable? Indisputable in what sense? In the mere fact of its existence, or in its being actually logical?
The phrase “emotional clarities that feel entirely new” reads obscure and clichéd.
Again, however, nice cover. The hand-drawn look of the text, as well as of the dotted lines (looks very Dexter’s Lab), is very satisfying.
ah, so doesn’t work on here? I’ve never been sure about this. is it html tags, then? *asterisks*? /slashes/? none of the above?
everything about this book seems calculated to get me to buy it. well, done.
