4 Things
Bill Knott will dedicate a book as you (yes, you) please.
Ryan Call and Christy Call’s 2008 story, Pocketfinger, at Everyday Genius.
NYTimes 100 Notable Books of 2010. I’m not on there. Are you?
What, a NOÖ Journal? Yep, great poems, great reviews, great stories and this WHAT WAIT A SECOND comic from John Dermot Woods (from which I clipped this roundup’s leading image).

I am pretty sure that I am completely uninterested in any of the 100 Notable Books of 2010. What does it mean
Bill Knott is a hero…
Well, that’s pretty stingy, Mike. No interest at all in the Sondheim book? the Paris ‘biography’? Mooney’s novel? That Mitchell novel is conventionally novel’ist’ic (and conventionally ‘post’-colonial), but, unexceptionally for Mitchell, it’s beautifully written.
The sun shines out of even the NY Times’s ass once in a while.
That means that you are uninterested in Lisa Robertson’s Magenta Soul Whip, which makes you a tasteless, joyless kneejerk.
I can, I think, make you interested in at least one of them. Observe:
Secret Historian: The Life and Times of Samuel Steward, Professor, Tattoo Artist, and Sexual Renegade by Justin Spring
Yes? No? And if “no,” are you made of stone, my friend?
