Not sure what “comprehensive” means here, but McLellan’s Weil book – Utopian Pessimist – is quite good.¬† An interest in how Weil philosophized by living mindfully would, in my view, grapple with her working out of the terms “decreation” (‘the purposeful movement from being to not-being’) and “metaxu” (Gr. ‘between’).

Pétrement wrote a biography of Weil as well.
