I saw Ali Liebegott read once. She was great. This first installment is great too. Reminds me why I will never get a tattoo.

I have a tattoo of the last line of Joyce’s “The Dead” on my left arm, and “My mother is a fish.” from As I Lay Dying, with Cash’s picture of Addie’s coffin around it (which the tattoo guy said was the weirdest thing he’s ever tattooed).

No one will ever mistake either of them for the three stooges, or Frida Kahlo for that matter.

Did the professor say “palpable” or palatable?

“A woman with a lot on her mind” is very good.
