   Tattered Cover. There are some good used bookstores around too, like Kilgore on 13th.

   there are a couple tattered covers, one on colfax, the other in lodo. tattered cover is viewed as our “indie” bookstore, but it’s basically just a barnes and noble with a more charming layout. i don’t think there are any bookstores that are great though. i buy most of my books online.

   Tattered Cover on Colfax & Wynkoop.  Innisfree in Boulder.  & Counterpath Press has a small, well-curated selection.

   Capitol Hill Books is nice as well, but Kilgore usually has a better selection.

   if you make it into Boulder, the Boulder Bookstore is stellar. and Innisfree (closer to CU) is a poetry-only bookstore and cafe that is awesome
