This poem intrigues me. I just read through a bunch of her other poems, and while I didn’t find one that I felt fully cohered, it seems like this is pretty definitely a talented poet! I’ll be keeping an eye out for her eventual first book. . . loved this line from http://www.escapeintolife.com/poetry/nicelle-davis/ :

“I want to believe we’re mimics of the divine.”
