   Anything to push Firework is perfect. Seriously one of my favorite books, a total mind-fuck, really. A great book. If you haven’t read it, do so now.

   i’ve tried on three occasions to read firework and it never sticks. maybe i will give it another chance.

   I like what Lish is saying and how he says it, but I read Firework, and I’m not buying it.

   If Lish is pushing it (as agent, I surmise), it is without question first rate. But first rate of an extremely narrow kind. Lish’s taste run so writing that will be exciting in the next century.

   I worry we will never see another Lish story or book. My old fridnd and I, we are dying, almost.
