Behind the Scenes & Snippets

All this time and then we find out Tao Lin has really just been Chris Burden (see object #1, Send Me Your Money). He might also be that dude in the question mark coat.

Damn! I thought Guy de Chimay, Josef Meyer, and PT Barnum had copyright.

Why does he sound like a teenager?

When I left my apartment today, a man entering the building was telling his friend, who had just asked him how he’d been since whenever, that recently he met Tao Lin. But he said “Lin” like “Lín”, “Tao Lean”.

“Yeah, so, how’ve you been?” “Met Tao Lean the other day.” …Therefore well, thanks.

I just read his Wikipedia entry and it includes this line:

“He is popularly known as ‘that question mark guy’ for the Riddler-like suit that he wears in his television commercials, infomercials, interviews, and in his everyday life.”

      Wonderful.

So what I’m saying is, race to write a 70,000-word novel about Matthew Lesko?

haha would that i could, man. too swamped right now. check back with me after i finish this short story i’m working on.

plus, i’m pretty sure Mr. Lesko could help us out and find a grant to support us as we fictitiously wrote about his life story.

A few years ago, I saw Lesko and his wife (girlfriend? date?) somewhere in Manhattan, apparently heading to dinner. She was in a fancy dress and heels, and he was wearing the ? suit. Being that guy is a full time job.
