Win Heather Christle’s ‘The Difficult Farm’
The amazing and on-point-to-the-point-of-wow Heather Christle is giving away copies of her very soon to be released debut book of poems, The Difficult Farm, which is coming this month from Octopus Books. Winners will be random, all you have to do is comment on her blog, and for the winners’ books Heather “will draw your home state on the title page from memory.” Well, shit, you better get on that.
You can also preorder the book now.
Here are a few recent reasons to love Heather Christle:
* Octopus 12
* Noo Journal
* Pilot

What store is that in the background? She should win some kind of award. I don’t care what kind.

i live on a federal compound where they have been systematically destroying the hope of me conducting any sort of business and socializing/reading/etc on the web by blocking the comments section of blogs. But not the blog themselves. Unless a website uses a blog as its base.
Can someone place a comment for me (my home state is Mississippi)?
That’d be quite dope of you….

Hi.
Michael I will put your name in the mix.
The store in the background is Hannaford. It’s a supermarket. This one in particular has a funny smell, kind of like bad bread. It’s in Ossipee, New Hampshire.
Here is some more information about it: http://www.hannaford.com/Contents/Our_Stores/Store_Locator/Locations/nh/0159.shtml

Heather Christle is awesome. One of my favorites from the post-El reading (and that’s saying a lot, because everyone kicked ass).
