      i was actually surprised there weren’t more remembrances. i wanted to do something to honor dfw but w/o being as tacky or ridiculous as sporting a white bandana so i bought a copy of every book in his oeuvre to put into our little library we have in our mfa lounge. i think everybody should buy a copy of ij or brief interviews or oblivion and present it to people who have never read him before. press it to palms that have never been so lucky.
