      I really like the article on Crawford. I read the Deb Olin Unferth’s interview with him, which was good. Interesting guy. I like what he said here:

      “Learning another language also enables you to impersonate being a completely different person, a useful exercise for a writer.”

      And it’s not just in learning. It’s when you gain the fluency to think and write and practically create an completely new personality. I am different when conversing or thinking in Spanish, than in English. It’s fun to play at, anyway.
