The Complex of All These
While a resident at the Women’s Studio Workshop last year, Abigail Uhteg created The Complex of All These, a neat handmade book in limited edition. She took over 3,000 photos of the entire process and put them together into this video.

A dance of handwork, (old) technologies, creativity, care, collaborative effort, materials, byproducts, methods, process.
The montage/editing was great and the music fit perfectly.
A compilation (3000 photos) about a compilation of processes about the making of a compilation (how many copies?) of sister object books each containing a compilation of words and images.
Dizzying and awesome.

Wow! This was rad to watch. I like how it reminds me not to take for granted the process of creating books. I read the final product, but rarely think about the effort expended in its actual physical creation. Thanks for posting this, Ryan.
