Harold Pinter, RIP
Harold Pinter, who used his Nobel Prize win lecture to really give it to U.S. foreign policy, has died.

I remember when he won. There were some who argued that he won BECAUSE of his dim view of American foreign policy. I remember reading one of the poems heralded as his best and thinking I’d read better stuff in alice blue, it was something about football and was pretty nauseating. Is it rude for me to say these things in a post about his death? Maybe. Oh well.
