i sure hope so. have to admit i was quite disappointed in rescue dawn. although there were some amazing moments – especially when the pow’s were losing their minds. furthermore, i feel like the whole ‘little people’ thing (a la herzog/lynch/korine) is losing its affect. and no one will do it better than herzog did in ‘even dwarves started small.’ seems like they need something a lot weirder, like people with human tails or something. anyway, it doesn’t matter. because i don’t watch very many movies in the theatre, so when something like this comes along i’m already there.

i dunno – i wanted to like it, believe me. probably it has more to do with me hating christian bale, a lot. but also, it didn’t seem as inspired as some of his other films. and the end was like, too happy or something? i know it’s a true story and all, but maybe it was not twisted enough for me? i dunno, blake. i really don’t.

It was a risky move going with the Charizard, but he pulled it off to perfection.
