“into the night” is a german tv series (i think? or like, special or something) that brings two people together and they hang out and it’s filmed… it’s sort of like, a cultural reality showish thing. there’s been a lot of crazy combos: michel houellebecq w/ calixo bieito, udo kier w/ grayson perry, bruce la bruce w/ jorg buttgereit, joe coleman w/ asia argento, etc. i’ve downloaded a couple but have yet to watch any of ’em

“Durch die Nacht.. (which translates as Into the night) is a german TV-show airing on german/french TV-station arte and sometimes on zdf theaterkanal where two people from the cultural community are put together to spend an evening in a city they cherish. They are going out, talking and visiting special places, such as bars, restaurants, studios, ateliers etc. They meet an artist who lives and works in this city.”

Durch die Nacht = through the night

“michel houellebecq w/ calixo bieito, udo kier w/ grayson perry, bruce la bruce w/ jorg buttgereit, joe coleman w/ asia argento” is found poetry I think

“In the newest episode of ‘Through the Night with…’ enfant terrible [more or less–literally ‘scandal director’] Gaspar Noé experienced a rapid night in Nashville, Tennesee. He would be welcomed by recalcitrant son of this city, Harmony Korine. Like two midnight cowboys, the experimental filmmakers–Noe in cowboy hat and Korine with cranky stubble–reveal more and more of the bizarre shadow world of the country-metropolis.”
